We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are preferred. The Server will play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our guests through excellent service and hospitality.
Responsibilities
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Micros POS
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest needs and inquiries with professionalism
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently maintained in all areas of service
Assist in food preparation and kitchen support as needed, adhering to food handling protocols
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables during busy periods without compromising service quality
Maintain cleanliness of dining area, tables, and service stations throughout shifts
Support guest services by accommodating special requests and ensuring overall satisfaction
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Ability to perform basic math for cashiering and order accuracy
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
Kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous but not required
Basic understanding of food preparation, serving techniques, and hospitality standards
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
