Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team at Hole 19 Bar & Grill located on the Fraser Glen Golf Course.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by delivering high-quality service, ensuring food safety, and maintaining cleanliness.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while adhering to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are prepared according to health regulations. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables, utensils, and service areas. Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.

Experience

Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively. Familiarity with food safety practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Experience with cash handling and operating POS systems is beneficial. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.
