A career in our analytics practice, Cloud and Data, will provide you with the opportunity to combine consulting and industry expertise with data science capabilities. We use artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotic automation, descriptive and predictive analytical techniques to incorporate client, third-party, and proprietary data to help answer questions and design solutions to our clients most pressing business issues.

If you\xe2\x80\x99re passionate about Cloud and Datas but want to focus on the business strategy side, you\xe2\x80\x99d work as a Data and AI Strategist with clients at the intersection of corporate strategic objectives and the data, analytics and AI strategies required to enable the transformation required to treat data as a strategic asset. You\xe2\x80\x99d understand and relay key data and analytics concepts at a fundamental level, such as data strategy, data management, data governance, data reporting and visualization, analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning.

If your passion and focus are on technical Analytics you\xe2\x80\x99d work as a Data Scientist. It would be your job to make the solution \xe2\x80\x9creal\xe2\x80\x9d, by integrating rapidly developing insight/actions and operationalizing it for clients. Analytics solutions are developed aligned to client maturity and range from descriptive to prescriptive models leveraging various methods or approaches (including machine learning, deep learning, etc). You\xe2\x80\x99d understand client data in the context of a client engagement objective, design analytics solution leveraging cloud and/or existing client technologies and use analytical services on cloud platforms (AWS, MS Azure and GCP), as well as on-premise solutions and applications.

Data & AI Strategist

Enrolled in or completed post-secondary education in Business/Commerce, Engineering, Technology, Science or Mathematics

Work at the intersection of corporate strategic objectives and the data, analytics and AI strategies required to enable the transformation required to treat data as a strategic asset

Understand and relay key data and analytics concepts at a fundamental level, such as data strategy, data management, data governance, data quality, data reporting and visualization, analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning

Working closely with stakeholders to understand and manage expectations, based on defined scope of work

Embracing a constant-learning mindset to consistently seek out new learnings, knowledge and methodologies to enhance the service offerings within data strategy, and related topics

Experience in:

Facilitating workshops and interview sessions with key client personnel

Gathering information from stakeholders and synthesizing it into logical themes and concepts to relay back to clients

Development of potential solution architecture and requirements for people, processes and technology to support business outcomes

Project management and coordination of activities

Identifying value creation opportunities through the use of data, conducting jurisdictional scans, documenting case studies and leading practices

Conducting research on data and analytics applications globally in multiple industries including but not limited to healthcare, transportation, environment services, energy and utilities, financial institutions, real estate, as well as cities and municipalities

Identifying best practices associated with data management, analytics and reporting

Data Scientist

Enrolled in or completed post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant Engineering, Technology, Science or Mathematics

An ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, focusing on communication to different audiences

Prioritize and handle multiple tasks; researching and analyzing pertinent client, industry, and technical matters

Share complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences both verbal and written

Experience in:

Developing analytical and statistical models

Designing and developing scalable products, from pilot to production

Data transformation and cleansing through data profiling and root cause analysis

Data analytics and visualization platforms such as Tableau, Alteryx, Microsoft Power BI

Agile software development, requirements specification, CI\\CD, testing and QA best practices

Database management systems, primarily SQL (i.e., MS SQL Server, Oracle, MS Access) and preferably NoSQL (e.g., Cosmos, Couch, MongoDB)

Interest in cloud technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud or MS Azure

Knowledge of at least one of the machine learning and/or deep learning libraries in Python (Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Spark MLlib)

Knowledge of working with big data technologies is an asset
