Assist Store Manager in continuously evaluating sales performance and inventory turnover to help meet monthly and quarterly sales goals.
Assist in managing labor and payroll expenses to maximize sales and profitability.
Support store marketing events and grow relationships in the community to generate brand awareness and drive traffic.
Maintain current and up to date knowledge on market product and sales trends.
Manage monthly and seasonal merchandising.

Assist Store Manager in training, mentoring, and retaining a high performing sales team.
Assist Store Manager with quarterly staff self-evaluations and mid-year reviews.

Ensure our customers receive Red Wings' legendary ultimate fit experience and elevate their overall customer experience.
Ensure excellence in customer service by monitoring customer feedback and responding to and addressing all customer concerns quickly.
Build and cultivate long term customer relationships and lead the team to do the same.

Assist Store Manager in planning for and achieving excellence in staffing, scheduling, monthly reports, cash management and inventory management.
Assist Store Manager in ensuring that the store's inventory integrity is maintained through proper shipping and receiving procedures, quarterly inventory counts, and by communicating concerns directly to the management team.
Provide shoe cleaning and conditioning services, minor repairs, and coordinate warranty work with local partners.
Ensure compliance with all store standards, policies, and initiatives.
Effectively communicate and collaborate with the management team to ensure ongoing operational excellence.
Engage in inventory management including ordering stock, leading inventory counts, tracking and tracing shrinkage.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience training and mentoring multiple employees.
On-the-job training.
Excellent communication skills.
Confidence and skillful negotiating skills.
Strong organizational skills to give the team direction.
Strong customer service and retail selling experience required.
Passionate about footwear!
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, and 0-2 years related experience/training.
Motivated, confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience.
Initiates completion of tasks or activities without necessary supervision.
Takes initiative to learn and maintain up-to-date knowledge on product.
High energy, enthusiasm and motivated demeanor.

Flexible availability including weekends and a changing schedule.
Retail footwear and/or wholesale experience preferred.
Computer experience with Excel, Word, Outlook and Point of Sales systems.
