The SEO Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve a website's search engine rankings, increase organic traffic, and enhance overall online visibility. This role involves keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, technical SEO audits, and performance analysis to ensure alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Keyword Research & Strategy:
+ Conduct keyword research to identify high-value search terms.
+ Develop content strategies based on keyword insights.
On-Page Optimization:
+ Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and internal linking.
+ Ensure proper use of schema markup and structured data.
Technical SEO:
+ Perform site audits to identify and fix crawl errors, broken links, and speed issues.
+ Optimize site architecture for better indexing and user experience.
Off-Page SEO:
+ Build and manage link-building campaigns.
+ Monitor backlink profile and disavow harmful links.
Analytics & Reporting:
+ Track and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush.
+ Prepare monthly reports on traffic, rankings, and ROI.
Collaboration:
+ Work closely with content creators, developers, and marketing teams to implement SEO best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in SEO (2+ years preferred).
Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz).
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web development principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and project management abilities.
