We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented SEO Specialist to join our Marketing team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in search engine optimization who is ready to take ownership of projects, contribute to strategy execution, and drive measurable growth in organic visibility. As a mid-level individual contributor, the SEO Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement SEO best practices, optimize content, and analyze performance data to deliver results.
Key Responsibilities
Execute on-page and off-page SEO initiatives to improve organic rankings, traffic, and conversions.
Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and performance audits to identify growth opportunities.
Optimize site architecture, metadata, and internal linking to ensure technical SEO health.
Collaborate with content, product, and engineering teams to align SEO strategies with business goals.
Monitor and report on key SEO metrics, communicating insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Stay current with industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging SEO tools and techniques.
Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in SEO, ideally in an in-house or agency setting.
Proven track record of driving organic search growth.
Strong understanding of on-page, technical, and off-page SEO best practices.
Familiarity with major SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog).
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and how websites are structured.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including content creators, developers, and designers.
Knowledge of local SEO, schema markup, and Core Web Vitals.
Exposure to A/B testing.

Seattle, WA Pay Range
$57,000-$92,000 salary per year
Salary will be adjusted based on geographic location.
