Scope of Work:
Audit the current website (WordPress-based) and identify SEO improvement opportunities
Optimize 10-15 core pages for SEO performance
Conduct keyword research relevant to the private school/education space in the Toronto region
Revise or provide new meta titles, descriptions, headers, and image alt tags
Suggest internal linking improvements
Present a clear SEO strategy proposal to the CTO
Recommend the most effective SEO tools or platforms
(e.g., keyword tools, audit tools, performance tracking tools), with explanations of their purpose and how they should be used
Coordinate with the CTO to support implementation of the agreed-upon changes
Compensation:
Flat project rate of
$350 CAD
(Timeline: Completion expected within 2-3 weeks of contract start date)
Requirements:
Demonstrated SEO experience with examples or results from past projects
Strong ability to explain SEO recommendations and tool usage in clear, professional terms
Experience working with WordPress
Ability to deliver organized, actionable recommendations and meet project deadlines
Professional communication and collaboration skills
Location:
Remote. Preference for candidates available during EST business hours for collaboration with our CTO.
