Job Title: SEO Specialist



Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic SEO Specialist to join our Marketing and Communications team at ABM College. The SEO Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to enhance our online presence, drive organic traffic to our website, and improve our search engine rankings. This role requires a deep understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research, content optimization, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with the college's goals and objectives. Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities for improving search engine rankings. Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithms, and best practices to ensure our strategies remain effective. Perform extensive keyword research to identify relevant and high-performing keywords. Analyze keyword performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize content. Implement keyword strategies to improve organic search visibility. Optimize website content, including meta tags, headers, images, and URLs, to improve search engine rankings. Ensure website content is user-friendly, engaging, and aligned with SEO best practices. Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-friendly content that meets the needs of our target audience. Conduct regular audits of the college's website to identify and fix technical SEO issues. Improve website loading speed, mobile-friendliness, and overall user experience. Develop and execute effective link-building strategies to increase the college's domain authority and search rankings. Use SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush) to track and report on SEO performance. Generate regular reports on key SEO metrics, such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis. Work closely with the marketing team, web developers, and content creators to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all digital marketing efforts.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role, preferably in the education sector. In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices. Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs). Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills. Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
