Reporting to the SVP, Workplace Consulting, the Senior Workplace Strategist plays a vital role in supporting the development and implementation of workplace strategies aimed at optimizing and improving the work environment. This position involves working independently or with Senior workplace specialists in analyzing workplace trends, understanding Clients\xe2\x80\x99 workforce needs, and aligning them with organizational goals to foster a productive and engaging workplace.

The Senior Workplace Strategist should have some familiarity with business development practices; this role will work closely with the SVP and other senior members of the team, as well as the larger Project & Development Services business lines, to produce content for pursuits, actively join in pitches, and work alongside the JLL Tenant Representation Group\xe2\x80\x99s (across Canada) to assist in the development of collateral etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research on workplace trends, employee preferences, and industry best practices to gather insights for developing workplace strategies. Assist in analyzing data related to space utilization, employee feedback, and workplace effectiveness.
  • Workplace Planning Support: Collaborate with Workplace Consulting team in creating and refining workspace planning concepts and layouts. Assist in developing block plans, furniture arrangements, and amenities that enhance productivity, collaboration, and well-being.
  • Change Management Support: Develop, in collaboration with other Workplace Consulting team members, change management initiatives associated with workplace transformation. Contribute to the development and execution of change management plans to ensure smooth transitions and successful adoption of new workplace strategies.
  • Client Engagement: Support efforts to gather client feedback through surveys, focus groups, and interviews. Assist in analyzing employee feedback and contribute to the implementation of initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction within the workplace.
  • Technology Implementation: Stay updated on emerging workplace technologies and tools. Assist in identifying and implementing technology solutions that improve communication, collaboration, and productivity in the workplace.
  • Policy and Guideline Compliance: Assist in reviewing and updating workplace policies, guidelines, and standards to ensure compliance with safety, inclusivity, and productivity requirements. Provide recommendations on ergonomic standards, health and safety regulations, and sustainable practices.
  • Data Collection and Reporting: Assist in collecting and analyzing workplace data, including space utilization and occupancy rates. Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • PROSCI certification preferred.
  • 10-14 years experience in Workplace Consulting
  • Ability to manage junior team members.
  • Excellent critical writing skills.
  • Previous experience or internship in workplace strategy, workplace design, or related roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with workplace trends, concepts, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills of large and diverse groups of stakeholders.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Basic knowledge of workplace technology tools and software.
  • Understanding of change management principles and willingness to learn, create, and support change initiatives.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft suite of software.
