SSENSE is seeking an experienced Senior Workday Business Analyst to join our team. As the Workday BA, you will be responsible for designing and configuring Workday modules such as HCM, Compensation, Talent, and Learning. You will work closely with key stakeholders to gather requirements, identify areas for process improvement, and ensure Workday functionality meets business needs. In addition, you will collaborate with other functional teams, including People, Finance, and Tech, to ensure seamless integration of Workday processes across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in several Workday modules as well as Workday integrations experience. Reporting to the Lead Product Manager as part of the wider Corporate Domain team, you will play a key role supporting our new Workday system.

Product Delivery: (40%)

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for modules such as HCM, Compensation, Talent, and Learning
  • Configure change requests based on business needs and provide ongoing support for several Workday modules
  • Utilize understanding of Workday functionality to identify areas where process improvements can be made
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, detect, identify and correct technical problems and deficiencies regarding integrations
  • Continuously monitor and optimize Workday processes to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy
  • Lead and execute Workday semi-annual releases: requirements gathering, design, build, test, and deployment
Architecture: (30%)
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for processes to ensure that they are well understood by all stakeholders
  • Collaborate with technical architects to design solutions that meet business needs and align with best practices
  • Stay up to date with the latest Workday technology trends and make recommendations for architectural improvements
  • Continuously monitor and optimize Workday architecture to ensure that it is scalable, efficient, and resilient
  • Participate in the development of technical roadmaps and standards for Workday processes
Ownership and Accountability: (20%)
  • Collaborate with QA Analysts to ensure thorough testing of Workday processes before they are released to production
  • Define and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure that Workday processes meet business needs
  • Participate in incident management and resolution to minimize downtime and service interruptions
  • Resolve integration system issues for the modules as escalated by users
  • Provide regular reports on Workday performance and make recommendations for improvements as needed
Knowledge Sharing and Coaching: (10%)
  • Share knowledge and best practices with team members to improve the overall Workday competency of the organization
  • Develop and deliver training programs for Workday users to ensure they are using the system effectively and efficiently
  • Participate in Workday user groups and industry events to stay up to date with the latest trends and developments
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organization
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business, computer science, human resources, information technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in at least 4 of the following Workday modules: HCM, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent, Learning, Advanced Compensation, Scheduling, and Integrations.
  • Must have worked in projects involving multiple systems solving functional/architectural/technical issues.
  • Ability to debug and understand Workday integrations.
  • Experience in business process analysis and design, requirements gathering, and working with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and French (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience working in Agile methodology and testing.
