Senior Wood Finisher / Spray Booth Specialist - High-End Millwork

Sandha Woodworks is a leader in high-quality architectural millwork, serving commercial and institutional clients across Ontario. Our

state-of-the-art 10,000 sq ft finishing facility

includes both

robotic paint equipment

and

custom spray booths

for specialty finishing. We are now seeking a

highly experienced Wood Finisher

to lead and manage our finishing operations.

Who You Are:

You have

7+ years of hands-on experience

finishing wood and millwork. You are an expert in both

water-based

and

oil-based

finishing systems. You have experience with

pre-cat, post-cat, polyurethane, lacquer, stains, sealers, topcoats, and custom blends.

You can operate

HVLP and air-assisted systems

, understand

film thickness

, drying schedules, and finishing sequences. You are extremely detail-oriented with high standards for finish quality, sheen control, color match, and durability. You are confident working in

a clean booth environment with robotic machines, conveyors, and complex jobs.

Your Responsibilities:

Mix, match, and apply custom stains, sealers, and topcoats on MDF, veneer, solid wood, and laminate materials. Operate

manual and robotic spray booth equipment

to apply consistent, high-end finishes. Read finish schedules, architectural specs, and match control samples with precision. Supervise drying/curing, sanding, re-coating, and final touch-up. Perform in-line QC checks and address defects immediately. Collaborate with the shop foreman and project managers to meet production deadlines. Train and lead junior finishers if required.

Requirements:

Minimum 7 years of finishing experience in custom millwork or cabinet shops. Mastery of modern finishing materials and techniques. Ability to work with both automated and manual booth systems. Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious. Able to pass color accuracy and quality control testing.

Compensation:

Top pay for top talent

- Based on skill and experience (

$27-40/hr

for senior-level). Year-round, full-time stable work. Overtime as needed. Growth into Finishing Supervisor role if desired. Excellent working environment with industry-best technology.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday - Occasional Saturday for rush deadlines.

Location:

Brantford, ON - On-site at our manufacturing facility.
