SRTX ( ) builds new materials and software to enable better textiles. SRTX is best known for its first technology, Sheertex, a knit made from one of the world\'s strongest polymers which has disrupted hosiery through impossibly strong pantyhose. We\'re looking for a Senior Web Developer who will be responsible for coding the design and layout of a website according to the SRTX specifications. They will oversee the development of the website according to the plans of the eCommerce Director and provide guidance to junior developers working on the project.

This developer will be able to gain a firm grasp of the full scope of SRTX\'s e-Commerce projects and key KPI\'s. They will work closely with web designers in the creative team, the commercial team, and Senior Web Developers to ensure that the website is responsive and easy to use. As a senior web developer, you will be responsible for conducting code reviews ensuring the integrity and best practices of our codebase.

Responsibilities

• Optimize website for maximum lighthouse scores (Performance, Best Practices, Accessibility, Technical SEO)
• Collaborate with other team members to advance the eCommerce Agenda (Commercial Team / Creative Team)
• Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working website.
• Establishing and guiding the website\'s architecture
• Designing and implementing new front-end / backend features and functionalities
• Implementing Shopify hydrogen themes / pages
• Support and mentor junior web developers with coding, troubleshooting and guidance
• Daily, and long term front-end development tasks
• Integrate third-party application, and tracking codes
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies, and help junior developers stay informed
• Assist with A/B tests
• Service eCom SOS tickets when needed
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers perfect their skills

• Communication: The ability to communicate clearly and concisely is critical. Good communication skills will help developers keep their projects on track by ensuring that all team members are on the same page. They will also serve as mentors for our Junior Web Developers.
• Organization: Is hyper organized while working on multiple projects simultaneously. This includes being able to keep track of deadlines, files, and other important project details.
• Problem-solving: Ability to troubleshoot problems that arise during the development process. This includes being able to identify and fix errors in code.
• Creativity: Ability to think outside the box to come up with innovative solutions to problems. This includes being able to generate new ideas for website features and design
• Ability to take initiative and be proactive: The ability to take initiative and be proactive is an important skill to have as a senior web developer. This means that you are able to take charge when needed and are always looking for ways to improve the situation.
• Strong attention to detail: Strong attention to detail is another important skill to have, especially during code reviews. This means that you are able to pay attention to the small details and make sure that everything is accounted for when it comes to the quality of our websites.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude: A strong work ethic and positive attitude are essential - they should lead by example and be a source of motivation for junior web developers. Having a strong work ethic means that they are always putting in the effort to get the job done and being stewards of Sheertex\'s values.
