Overview:

The Senior Software Service Specialist (SSS) in Revvity Signals will provide scientific and technical consulting for our customers. The SSS will deliver Revvity Signals solutions to customers, mapping, and processing customer data sets to design analyses that ask better questions. Familiarity with scientific concepts and language in the Research Analytics or In vitro\\In vivo domain is preferred to participate in requirements gathering and design discussions with customers. The SSS will regularly interact with customer roles including IT Directors, bench scientists, laboratory managers, data managers, and business sponsors.

Your day-to-day:

  • Design and deliver advanced visual analytics with Revvity Signals for a wide range of scientific use cases. Serve as the trusted Subject Matter Expert in scientific visual analytic solutions and delivery of Revvity Signals services offerings.
  • Execute project activities with accountability for customer satisfaction, work quality, timeliness, and risk mitigation.
  • Provide best practices and strategies to customers to learn as much as possible from their available data and help them design analyses that ask better questions.
  • Help the team prioritize the workload, balance time and costs, and delight customers with solutions delivered.
  • Proactively identify and act on opportunities to improve the delivery and quality of solutions.
  • Facilitate the voice of customers to the product management team.
Education:
  • Bachelors\xe2\x80\x99 level degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or related field
Work Experience:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in research or clinical data analysis and related techniques in the field of drug discovery, epidemiology, biostatistics.
  • Experience with various InVivo and Invitro Molecular Biology techniques like ELISA, Flow Cytometry, other high throughput screening assays, and Mass Spectroscopy.
  • Experience with high throughput screening results utilizing enterprise level bioinformatics software to carry out structure activity analyses and to generate predictive correlations.
  • Ability to consult with clients to convey best approach to achieve visual analytics for scientific concepts.
  • Scientific fluency and a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with an emphasis on teamwork, collaboration, and communication to create and launch innovative, successful solutions.
  • Experience with TIBCO Spotfire, Research Informatics, ELN, & LIMS platforms
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence in your ability to face customers in a fast paced, growth environment is needed.
  • Experience with advanced statistics/analytics and big data technologies is a plus.
  • Experience with analysis packages and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL
  • Experience with data lakes, data warehouses or big data concepts is a plus.
  • Familiarity with modern software development methodologies such as Agile, source control, project management, and issue tracking with JIRA.
  • Strong initiative, with strengths in problem-solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in an ambiguous and deadline-driven work environment, and ability to multitask.
