What does a Senior Video Editor do at Hogarth?
Hogarth Worldwide is seeking a seasoned Senior editor to join our team. As a Senior Editor, you'll be at the forefront of masterfully transforming ideas into captivating visual narratives. Collaborating closely across multi-disciplinary studio capabilities and in partnership with our client, you'll strategicallyrefine and enhance the edit to create exceptionally beautiful content that tells masterfully articulated stories.
Duties:

  • Expertly interpret complex creative briefs and drive collaboration with directors, producers, creative leads, and clients to bring the story vision to life.
  • Masterfully craft compelling narratives using footage, sound, and graphics, setting high standards.
  • Independently edit and assemble raw material into highly polished, impactful content across formats.
  • Rigorously ensure pacing, tone, and storytelling elevate the creative vision.
  • Apply advanced color balance, sophisticated audio mixing, and integrate complex motion graphics.
  • Strategically adapt edits for various platforms and regional/local versions.
  • Enforce stringent brand consistency and meet all complex delivery specifications.
  • Oversee and optimize media assets, file organization, and post workflows.
  • Actively integrate cutting-edge editing software and AI tools, driving innovation.
  • Champion highest quality control standards and meet tight deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Expert-level mastery of Premiere Pro.
  • Deep, production-proven workflow expertise in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Advanced capability in complex animation, sophisticated titling, and professional color correction needs.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Highly confident, creatively driven, and adept at leading client-facing interactions.
  • Proven ability to build and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with all clients.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in fast-paced environments with demanding deadlines.
  • Exceptional command of Advanced English.
  • Extensive experience (5+ years preferred) in a senior role within top-tier Post houses or Advertising Agencies.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from CA$ 65,000 to CA$ 115,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
