You can provide candid counsel on a wide range of issues, including tax, complex accounting, restructuring, acquisitions, IPOs and more. About the Position

As a US Tax Specialist, you will required to be a self-starter with the preparation and/or review of US tax assignments. You will not only utilize your technical competancies in this role, but you will also draw on your strong interpersonal skills to develop solid working relationships with your team members, as well as our clients.

Summary of Responsibilities

Demonstrate a thorough understanding of tax concepts and application of tax knowledge as it relates to: + US corporate federal and state income tax compliance
Complete US corporate and partnership tax returns for clients e.g. Form 1120's, 1065's Conduct tax research at Federal and State levels with intent to analyze US cross-border tax issues Deal with US Federal and State authorities with respect to client tax notices and related matters; Provide assistance to team members on tax related matters; pursue/share knowledge to develop professionally Establish positive working relationships with clients

Summary of Responsibilities

Undergraduate degree in related field and minimum 3-4 years of public accounting experience in US Tax

Requirements:

Completion of US CPA or working towards completion, preferred US state compliance knowledge Exposure to international compliance Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, US Tax Preparation Software High aptitude Willingness to take initiative Strong written and oral communication abilities, interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment Good analytical and organizational skills Ability to work with tight deadlines
