KEY OBJECTIVE:



As a key member of the Financial Lines underwriting department, you will have the role of managing a book of renewal Cyber, Technology E&O, Primary & Excess business, as well as developing and growing new business opportunities. As such you will play a critical role in the growth and profitability initiatives for this large specialty department.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:



Risk selection, coverage negotiation and pricing adequacy on renewal business, as well as managing key broker relationships. Identifying, analyzing, and developing sources of new Cyber business opportunities, commensurate with Chubb's appetite and underwriting guidelines. Developing and establishing relationships with key local brokers and clients, including conducting broker meetings and training presentations on a regularly scheduled basis to ensure department goals and objectives are met. Providing technical leadership for underwriting/marketing Cyber business. Providing technical input in policy form development. Collaborating with team members to achieve customer satisfaction, profit, and goals. Interacting with senior management and product management on a regular basis for general underwriting direction and business strategy. * Participating in self-development activities to improve or further develop knowledge of underwriting Cyber.
