Our opening team at 1 Hotel Toronto is in search of a magnetic Senior Transient Sales Manager to oversee the business and leisure segments within the hotel. Our ideal candidate has remarkable tenacity, is a sharp leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, whos good-natured, a natural at relationship building, and puts their clients needs at the top of their priority list, while meeting (or surpassing) all revenue goals for the department. The Transient Sales Manager will focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of property sales objectives and personal booking goals. This roles will also identify and solicit new accounts in the business and leisure travel market, including corporate accounts, travel agencies, domestic and international wholesale operators, extended stay guests and the local business travel market.

Qualifications

About you...

• Passionate about hospitality sales and a minimum of 4 years of transient sales experience in an upper upscale hotel environment, life style hotel experience is a plus.

Proven in experience with account management, guest room sales, contract negotiations, customer service, and execution of flawless guest experiences. * Advanced knowledge of hospitality sales

• A strong leader and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance.
• Proficient in Lanyon, ability to negotiate RPFs
• Proactive sales approach, including client entertainment, sales calls, FAM trips, identifying target accounts and active solicitation
• Able to identify opportunity accounts through Hotelligence
• Excels at communication, both verbal and written skills.
