The Innovative Automation CAD Hub is a diverse team of talented and dynamic individuals, part of a greater Automation team who have fun delivering automation solutions that enhance the colleague and customer experience. The team supports Canadian Personal Banking, Business Banking (including TDAF), Wealth, Credit Cards, TD Insurance, and Products partners. TD Testing and Quality Assurance (QA) covers a specialized area dedicated to high-quality application and solution delivery. Similar to industry trends, TD's definition of this area of discipline (as well as skill and knowledge requirements) has changed over time. One thing hasn't changed – experts in this area remain highly-marketable across businesses. Some of our testing activities may focus on system integration, business acceptance, performance, operability and deployment verification. Quality Assurance activities, in contrast, give stakeholders information about product or service quality while allowing the business to appreciate and understand any implementation risks. Many Testing & QA Experts could be involved in end-to-end delivery of testing, or more focused on a specific discipline. There's room to grow in all of this.

About This Role Reporting to the Automation Testing Manager, this role is accountable for the testing of automated processes using the latest Blue Prism Robotics Processing Automation software.
The successful candidate will develop a detailed test plan, test scenarios & test cases, will test automated processes before they are launched to production and will support post-production testing of any process or application related changes.
The accountabilities for the role include but are not limited to the following:

• Work closely with the manager in arriving at testing timelines and prerequisites
• Develop test cases with traceability to business requirements
• Document test cases, test results & defects
• Execute the automation solution using Blue Prism software adhering to testing best practices and standards
• Support day to day running of automated processes by providing timely test results for any fixes and enhancements as required
• Complete required Automation Lifecycle artifacts
• Promptly identify and raise awareness of any issues; engage partners to quickly resolve them
• Support automation and test data management strategies, including promoting and developing awareness of testing methodologies and standards
• Support knowledge transfer within the team

  Post-secondary education, Computer Science degree an asset

• Strong business aptitude with ability to understand business process
