The drafting technician collaborates with engineers to produce plans and diagrams and perform certain basic calculations. The person sought for this position must hold a relevant vocational training diploma and be familiar with drawing software. • Assist engineers in designing plans and specifications in the field of building telecommunications
• Perform quantity calculations
• Produce interconnection diagrams for various equipment according to the engineer's instructions
• Ensure site supervision for work relating to telecommunications, on an ad hoc basis or over short periods

Qualifications

• DEP or DEC in computer-aided design (CAD) or equivalent training
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building design xe2x80x94 telecommunications or electricity
• Practical knowledge of REVIT software and AutoCAD software
• Ability to work in a team and attention to detail
• Fluency in spoken and written French is a must
