We are seeking a

Senior Architect

with a passion for exceptional design, meticulous technical precision, and proven, hands-on experience in the

Canadian custom residential construction industry

. This is a pivotal role for a candidate who thrives on turning bespoke architectural visions into tangible realities.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Design Leadership:

Lead the architectural design, detailing, and technical coordination for all custom stone and precast elements, ensuring they integrate flawlessly with unique, high-end residential designs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Serve as the primary architectural liaison, collaborating extensively with in-house engineering, production, and site construction teams to guarantee design intent, constructability, and material efficiency for custom, one-of-a-kind projects*.

Technical Documentation:

Prepare, review, and manage highly detailed technical drawings and 3D models using

Revit

(required) and AutoCAD for complex facade and structural precast systems.

Client & Site Management:

Conduct regular site visits, proactively coordinate with demanding clients, external architects, and general contractors, and provide expert architectural guidance from initial concept through final installation.

Compliance & Standards:

Ensure all designs and specifications adhere strictly to Canadian building codes, zoning regulations, and the highest industry standards for residential luxury construction.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Previous experience of progressive architectural specifically within the

Canadian custom residential or high-end multi-family sector

.

Exceptional proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD

is mandatory. Strong, practical understanding of stone, structural precast, architectural facade systems, and their specific application in luxury custom home construction. Proven track record of superior communication, client-facing presentation skills, and robust project coordination abilities.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$32.00 per hour
