We challenge each other\'s thinking and are continuously looking to solve problems collaboratively, while always prioritizing the employee experience.About the role:As a Talent Development Specialist, you will be a key driver in our culture and business transformation. You will design, develop, and facilitate a wide range of training programs, including leadership development and skills enhancement sessions. Your role will involve collaboration with various teams within and outside the People & Culture department, to ensure our training initiatives are aligned with the company\'s strategic goals and support the development of our workforce.Here\'s How You Make an Impact:

  • Design and deliver comprehensive, sustainable training programs that can be continuously reinforced and are tailored to employee needs while aligning with Wave\'s purpose, mission, and values
  • Work collaboratively with the People & Culture team to conduct needs analysis and support the development and implementation of new programs during our cultural transformation
  • Create engaging training materials and utilize various methods such as workshops, e-learning modules, webinars, and blended learning approaches to cater to different learning styles and needs
  • Focus on leadership development and support employees\' development plans through technical and soft skills training
  • Partner with business leaders and department heads to identify training needs and develop customized solutions that drive high performance and engagement
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with business objectives
  • Manage third-party vendors and relationships, where appropriate
  • Continuously evaluate and update training programs to ensure they remain relevant, engaging, and aligned with industry best practices
  • Play a critical role in supporting the company\'s culture and business transformation by designing training that promotes new behaviours, skills, and mindsets
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to help employees adapt to changes and embrace new processes
  • Maintain records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness
  • Implement programs and policies around training, conferences, and individual development budgeting
  • Manage and maintain the company\'s LMS
You Thrive Here By Possessing the Following:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in talent development, with a proven track record in designing and delivering learning programs in a corporate setting
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Relevant certifications are a plus
  • Instructional design and facilitation experience
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies
  • Experience with digital learning platforms, LMS systems, and e-learning tools
  • Excellent and engaging communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to assess training needs, design effective programs, and measure training impact
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Passion for continuous learning and development, with a creative and innovative approach to training
