The Role

We are an employer of choice, and we want the world to know. As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you are a passionate, social media savvy, Recruitment Expert and Social Networker. In this hybrid role, you focus on full cycle recruitment and building critical skill pipelines. You play an integral role in supporting an impactful employer brand to increase our talent attraction efforts around the globe. In this role, you will:

Participate and improve full-cycle recruitment across global roles (screening, job descriptions, ads, screening, offers) Build and manage strong talent pipelines using multiple sourcing channels Deliver an exceptional candidate experience, including those not selected Partner on innovative employer branding strategies to strengthen talent attraction Leverage competitive intelligence and market insights for hard-to-fill roles Act as a subject matter expert on job market trends, compensation, and sourcing strategies

To Be Successful in This Role, You Have:

5+ years of high-volume, full-cycle corporate recruitment; agency experience is an asset Post-secondary education in HR or a related field Proven ability to source passive candidates and build diverse pipelines creatively Strong stakeholder management skills with a customer-focused mindset Solid understanding of recruitment practices, ATS systems, legislation, and LinkedIn Recruiter Excellent relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; able to prioritize, work independently, and deliver under pressure

Hiring the right people, for the right roles, at the right time Consistent, equitable, and competency-based screening across the business Hiring managers are equipped and confident in using best-practice recruitment processes Recognition of Seequent as an employer of choice in key global markets A strong, proactive talent pipeline that supports current and future hiring needs Employee referrals actively contributing to successful hires Student internships and co-ops are highly sought after, with strong conversion to permanent hires Additional Preferred Skills Experience managing recruitment across multiple time zones Exposure to hiring processes in different countries Fluency in additional languages beyond English, particularly Spanish or Portuguese

This role is hybrid office based, requiring a presence at our Calgary, Alberta location a minimum of three days per week.
