Working for Pembina means working safely.Overview:Pembina Pipeline Corporation\'s Calgary office is recruiting for a Senior Advisor, Talent Acquisition to join the team. This position reports to the Manager, Employee Services & Talent Acquisition in the Human Resources Service Unit (HSU) part of Pembina\'s Corporate Services Division. The Human Resources Service Unit helps the various business and service units by ensuring we recruit, develop and retain the necessary talent needed to achieve the organization\'s strategic goals.The Talent Acquisition (TA) team\'s ambitious mission is to increase the organization\'s success by identifying and hiring the right top-tier talent with unmatched efficiency, and outstanding candidate experiences. To do this, TA is embracing a three-pronged approach: Enhanced candidate experiences and engagement, strengthening internal process and practices, and building brand image and partnerships.Responsibilities may include but not limited to:Talent Acquisition Strategy and Approach:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies for your client groups. Through an effective understanding of your clients\' work and strategic priorities, you will proactively determine which roles require a specific talent acquisition strategy, and which can be filled using a more traditional recruitment.
  • Lead the identification, attraction, and hiring of talent, ensuring alignment with our organizational values and our equity, diversity and inclusion strategy.
  • Build strong trusting relationships with hiring leaders, HR Strategic Partners and HR Business Advisors to make sure that the right candidates are hired at the right time.
  • Monitor industry trends at both the macro level and specific to your clients to ensure our talent acquisition strategies, and the approaches that you take, are innovative and competitive.
  • Your client groups will be a combination of business units and job families; benefitting from building and maintaining strong relationships with external partners, industry associations, and educational institutions.
Enhanced Candidate Experiences and Engagement:
  • Manage the talent acquisition process with the support of the Employee Services Analysts, from initial contact through to offer acceptance including identifying, assessing, and selecting the right candidates for our needs.
  • Using your knowledge of the business to create a candidate experience that is consistent and positive throughout the process. This includes influencing leaders to adjust approach, as needed.
  • Implement innovative candidate engagement strategies that differentiate our organization in a competitive talent market.
Strengthening Internal Processes and Practices:
  • Continuously improve talent acquisition processes to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability. This may include recommendations for system changes or developing training materials for hiring leaders on bias, interviews, and our hiring process.
  • Leverage technology and data analytics to drive decision-making and improve hiring outcomes.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to align recruitment practices with business needs and strategic objectives.
  • Work together with other teams in HSU to identify trends, insights, and opportunities based on data and direct candidate feedback.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in talent acquisition for a variety of challenging to fill technical and professional roles.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful and innovative talent acquisition approaches.
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition technology, tools, and best practices.
  • Adept with technology and enjoys leveraging it to improve processes; experience with SuccessFactors Recruiting is an asset.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive recruitment decisions.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Supportive of other team members, and in return, comfortable asking for help when needed.
  • Proactive and comfortable working with ambiguity.
