YOUR FOCUS

Reporting to the Manager, Systems & Applications, this position is responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the university's identity and access management (IAM) environment. This includes leading the integration and operation of systems such as Entra ID, MidPoint, directory services, and single sign-on (SSO) infrastructure. The role emphasizes high availability, security, scalability, and compliance with institutional and industry standards.

Lead the maintenance and operation of UNB's identity and access management systems to ensure reliability, security, and compliance.

Design identity and access management solutions that are scalable, auditable, and secure. Define role-based and attribute-based access control models (RBAC/ABAC) for enterprise applications. Lead the design of lifecycle automation processes, including onboarding/offboarding workflows and delegated administration.

Continuously monitor identity infrastructure for availability, performance, and compliance. Review access logs, authentication telemetry, and audit events from sources like Entra ID, MidPoint, and identity federation gateways.

Participate in project teams as an effective team member and complete independent projects successfully and on time.
