About the Role:
As a Senior Supplier Relationship Manager at CBRE, you'll be at the forefront of driving strategic value through supplier excellence. This is more than a procurement role -- it's a high-impact opportunity to influence how CBRE delivers world-class solutions to clients across the globe.
You'll lead the development and optimization of supplier relationships that power our operations, ensuring performance, compliance, and continuous innovation. Collaborating across cross-functional teams and external partners, you'll design and execute complex sourcing strategies that align with CBRE's business goals and elevate our service delivery.
This role sits within our Global Procurement team, a dynamic function responsible for sourcing the goods, services, and solutions that enable CBRE to deliver unmatched value. What You'll Do:Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure alignment with CBRE's goals.
Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and SLAs; lead corrective actions when needed.
Conduct supplier segmentation and risk/value analysis to prioritize relationship management efforts.
Lead supplier audits and performance reviews; identify opportunities for cost savings and innovation.
Support supplier onboarding and ensure adherence to CBRE policies and standards.
Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.Assist with the development of company-wide policies and procedures, playbooks, and other organizational materials.
Work with business stakeholders, operational, global shared services team members and executive sponsors to develop, coordinate, and execute strategy at local, regional, and global levels.
Oversee the process of contract terminations, expirations, extensions, and renewals. Inform peers and corporate management staff of changes or results.
Manage supplier and contractor certification process. Conduct periodic visits to high-profile supplier work locations to review vendor performance. Approve and manage costs related to the service provider.
Mentor and educate on contemporary outsourcing practices and the value of applying them. Manage issues and expectations across a broad range of skill sets, locations, and cultures.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans.
Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity.
Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within job discipline.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of
experience and education will be considered. C.P.M., C.P.S.M. or N.A.C.M. certifications or eligibility, required.Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial
