Misson

CIMA+ provides a full range of innovative services in engineering, facilities planning and operations, helping our clients to achieve high performance and cost-effective projects.
Our Civil-Structural group specializes in the engineering of foundations, buildings and a wide range of mining and industrial structures. Focused on providing the most cost-effective solutions to engineering challenges, we are involved in a diverse range of projects from the initial planning stages to design, construction, and commissioning. Primary Responsibilities
  • Conducts structural inspections for industrial projects
  • Designs for equipment foundations and support structures
  • Confident making technical decisions with limited information
  • Estimates and prepares engineering proposals
  • Ensures projects are on task, on budget and on schedule
  • Approves and stamps own project design and reports, and those of engineers in training for whom you are providing peer review, as appropriate
  • Client-facing, able to well-represent the company and the community in presentations and meetings
  • Profile
  • Bachelor\'s Degree Structural Engineering
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in consulting engineering in a Canadian work environment
  • Registered P.Eng. in the province of Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan
  • Possesses advanced technical skills in steel and concrete design, with field experience
  • Possesses design experience in heavy industries such as Oil & Gas, Mining, Hydro & Dam and Renewable Energy. Substation design experience - an asset
  • Working knowledge of Canadian codes and standards, as well as knowledgeable of good design practices.
  • Proficiency in the use of SAP 2000 or similar.
The expected salary for this position is from $105,440 to $158,160 based on the richness and diversity of the candidate\'s experience, training, skills and internal equity. The position or associated salary could vary depending on the profile of the candidate,
