A better way to design; a better way to manage; a better way to serve our communities; and a better way to inspire our people About the opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Structural Designer to support our Industrial & Infrastructure division in Eastern Canada. We are looking for someone with passion and drive, who is highly skilled in support of detailed designs that maintain our high standard of quality. With varied experience in layout, design, and construction, your skilled guidance in influencing project planning and execution is crucial to the delivery of sustainable and successful outcomes for our clients. This position will be located at our Burlington Office, however some travel maybe required to client\xe2\x80\x99s site. We currently offer a hybrid model and there is flexibility to work from home. About the role

• Prepare 3D structural model and 2D structural drawings (steel and concrete) for industrial and institutional projects.
• Interface with other disciplines (civil, architectural, mechanical, piping, electrical) to ensure coordination of structural drawings with other disciplines.

About you:

• Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology(structural or architectural)from a recognized university
• 10 to 15 years consulting experience in structural steel and concrete design, drafting and modelling.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D drafting is a must.
• Site experience and shop detailing is considered an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of multi-functional project teams is a must.
• Architectural design experience is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are essential.
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
