The Role
As the Senior Strategist, Global Brand Management - Sustainability & Impact (SB&I), you will lead the development of lululemon's global brand strategy for sustainability and social impact. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping how our brand shows up in this space, defining a clear, data-driven narrative that builds distinction, maintains trust, and drives measurable impact across global markets.
You will develop and guide the 5-year brand plan for SB&I, ensuring alignment to brand KPIs and lululemon's enterprise sustainability and impact goals. Partnering closely with cross-functional teams including Global Brand, Sustainability, Insights, Product, Legal, and Regional Marketing, you will help define how we communicate our commitments and progress with authenticity, consistency, and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
Drive the development of the 5-year strategic brand plan for Sustainability & Impact (SB&I), ensuring alignment with lululemon's enterprise goals and brand KPIs.
Create, establish, and validate category positioning and a unique point of view (UPOV) for sustainability and social impact across global markets.
Develop a data-driven messaging hierarchy in partnership with SB&I functional teams, Brand Insights, and Product to ensure clarity, authenticity, and resonance.
Lead the creation of playbooks, toolkits, and guidelines to empower cross-functional partners and ensure consistent storytelling globally.
Develop creative briefs in partnership with the Brand Creative team, ensuring content reflects our purpose and advances our brand and business objectives.
Serve as the central brand liaison between enterprise sustainability and impact teams, regional marketing, and global channel partners, ensuring cohesive, impactful guest communications.
Partner with Legal and Regulatory teams to ensure all sustainability and impact communications comply with evolving global standards and regulations.
Stay ahead of shifting guest perceptions, sentiment, and category trends, using insights to inform strategy and future planning.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Marketing, Communications, Sustainability, or related field a plus
10-12 years of experience leading SB&I brand communications or marketing at a global organization
Experience leading senior-level leaders within a matrix organization
Experience within a retail organization is a plus
Proven ability to break down complex narratives into simple, clear, guest-facing communications
Demonstrated experience developing and executing integrated brand strategies in complex, global organizations
Strong storytelling and strategic thinking skills, with a deep understanding of how to translate data and insight into compelling narratives
Passion for purpose-led brand building and the intersection of business and positive impact

compensation and benefits package
lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team?performance. The?typical hiring range for this position is from?$130,800-$171,700?annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and, subject to program eligibility requirements.
