We are a leading mid-market firm with locations in London, Dorchester, Aylmer, Leamington and Essex, Ontario. We provide audit, accounting, tax and a wide range of business advisory services, which include business acquisitions, divestitures and financing, human resources, recruitment and IT services.

The home office for this role will be based out of our Leamington, Ontario office.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of compilation, review and audit engagements
  • Preparation of corporate, personal and trust income tax returns
  • Preparation of tax slips (T3, T4, T5, etc.)
  • Bookkeeping assignments
  • Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with clients, co-workers and all levels of staff and management
  • Direct fieldwork, inform Manager(s) of the engagement status
  • Develop strong technical audit, accounting and tax skills
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Delivering to the highest service standards
  • Working collaboratively to ensure we provide an integrated financial and business solution that meets our clients\' needs
  • Providing highly personal, relevant, and timely services
  • Becoming our clients\' trusted business advisor
A successful candidate will have:
  • University Degree (Commerce/Accounting)
  • 2 to 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience at a public accounting firm
  • 2 years of audit and assurance experience
  • CPA designation
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to work and learn
  • Strong working knowledge of Caseware, Caseview, Taxprep, Quickbooks and Simply Accounting
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines, which can be conflicting with one another
  • An inclination for attention to details and accuracy
  • High ethical standards
  • A desire to be an integral part of a fun team environment
