What will your typical day look like?



Deloitte, Touche, Tohmatsu Limited (DTTL) seeks a Digital Designer supporting the Digital Experience Center of Excellence within the Global Brand & Marketing organization. This role will help bring to life our marketing, brand, and communications priorities via world class designs across all of Deloitte’s external digital channels and
audience touchpoints. Our aspiration is to be the experienced and trusted team collaboratively delivering targeted, creative and innovative work that builds our brand, inspires our clients and impacts our business.
This is an end to end Campaign Experience Team, who support and elevate the industry and strategic marketing teams of Deloitte, creating and executing high impact marketing campaigns that reach the target audiences and achieve the desired outcomes for the business and brand. The team’s scope of work begins with taking a brief
from the business, through to Creative Development, naturally transitioning to Editorial Content, Video Production, Design Strategy, UX, Social Media Strategy and Targeted Media Planning and execution.
This individual will be tasked to bring unexpected thinking to the design experience to conceptualize and design content and collateral supporting core programs across the Deloitte network, working closely with colleagues to create integrated campaigns that meet program goals. Proven experience working within a cross-functional team
of project managers, creatives, content experts, and technologists to take ideas from concept to execution is central to this role.
A successful candidate must respond to creative briefs with outcomes that deliver an effective user experience that meets both audience expectations and business objectives. They will need to demonstrate the ability to manage their own time and work with a degree of autonomy but understand when and how to reach out to the
wider team, with a genuine drive to collaborate and support other designers and functions within the team. Comfort with handling shifting priorities and working effectively in a fast-paced, global environment while balancing scope, cost, risk, and quality is necessary. Those with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, creative sensitives, and client service skills will thrive in this team environment.
Responsibilities;

  • Respond to creative campaign briefs supporting Deloitte’s core and network-wide campaigns
  • Attend client briefings, brainstorms and contribute ideas on the best creative approach
  • Design and present concepts and designs with the goal of receiving buy-in from senior-level decision makers throughout Deloitte
  • Ensure consistent application of Deloitte’s brand standards across collateral to achieve brand cohesion and be the brand’s guardian
  • Collaborate with fellow designers and stakeholders to bring differentiation and well crafted, strategic-led design ideas to life
  • Synthesize historical and competitive creative data and trends to inform and support creative strategy
  • Create world class content aligned to and within specifications powering Deloitte.com, social media content, advertising and other design collateral
  • Operationalize and oversee creative execution from internal and external agencies
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings to ensure timely completion of all milestones
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage your own time to meet deadlines
  • Support local translation and adoption of designs globally
  • Demonstrate a passion for leaving things in better shape than you found them.

You are someone with:

  • Bachelor/Tertiary design degree
  • 3-5 years of design experience within corporate communications or agency environments
  • Sound understanding and experience in artworking for print and digital production
  • Understanding of the importance of working within brand guidelines
  • Experience conceptualizing and designing best in class design solutions from campaign brief through deployment
  • Understanding integrated marketing and communications strategies and how they come together to provide measurable results
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills
  • Strategic thinking
  • Digitally proficient
  • Experience in B2B marketing, professional services industry is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Working knowledge of full Adobe Creative Suite including After Effects is highly desirable
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is highly desirable
  • Understanding of UX/UI is highly desirable
  • Photography and illustration skills are highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think under pressure
  • Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise and work to meet deadlines
  • Clearly expresses thoughts, ideas and expectations (including reverse briefing and debriefing processes)
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Holds oneself to high personal standards with a great attention to detail
  • Be a pro-active/flexible team player who is always willing to assist others and shares inspiration and design trends
  • Understands the value of good relationships.
