Azure Data Lead



Primary skill Azure Synapse Power BI



Key Responsibilities



Design develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Factory



Develop optimize and support Power BI reports and dashboards including advanced DAX calculations and data modelling



Collaborate with business stakeholders and clients to gather requirements ensure SLA adherence and provide effective incident and problem resolution



Optimize Synapse SQL pools and Power BI datasets for performance and cost efficiency



Implement data security rolebased access control and compliance frameworks within Synapse and Power BI environments



Participate in calibration knowledge transition and client governance discussions ensuring smooth handovers in managed service contexts



Support continuous improvements by identifying automation opportunities and operational efficiencies in AMSmanaged service environments



Required Skills Experience



14 years of overall IT experience with strong exposure to data engineering BI and clientfacing delivery roles



Minimum 8 years on Azure Synapse



Proven expertise in Power BI DAX Data Modelling Visualization best practices



Strong handson skills in SQL Spark and Data Lake integrations



Familiarity with Azure Data Factory DevOps pipelines and AMS operations



Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with experience in working directly with business and client teams



Prior experience in AMS or managed service environments is a strong advantage

Benefits



Compensation range: $90,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
