Technical Primary Skills
Design develop and maintain ETL processes to extract transform and load data from various sources Handson experience in upgrading of Informatica PowerCenter from a lower version to a higher version
Proven experience as an ETL Developer Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica BDM
Proven experience as Database Developer hands on experience in writing DDLS and DMLS for relational databases
Experience in writing complex SQL queries for Adhoc reporting
Experience on automation tools like ControlM ASG ZENA Experience in writing Unix scripts
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures in PostgreSQL
Monitor dailymonthly jobs and resolve failures if any
Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive documentation of ETL processes and database schemas
Collaborate with business teams to understand data requirements and ensure data integrity and accuracy
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
Experience in Agile methodology JIRA
Above average communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferable experience in the insurance industry able to understand underwriting data terminology
Technical Secondary Skills
Informatica Certified Professional ICP andor Informatica Foundation Level Certifications IDMC CDCG MDM etc
Experience with database systems eg Oracle Postgres MySQL SQL Associate Certification an asset
Knowledge of data visualization tools eg Qlik Python Power BI SAP BO
