Senior Software Engineer

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will be joining the Commercial Engineering team that is re-engineering the Commercial Client Onboarding experience.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices

Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs

Directing day-to-day activities in a manner consistent with our risk culture and the relevant risk appetite statement and limits, and communicate it throughout the team.

Create an environment in which your team pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to risk and compliance

Create and maintain software documentation

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We\'d love to work with you if you have:

Experience working with authenticated, customer focused software

Deep knowledge and experience with REST API design, Java Spring Boot

Knowledge in Object Oriented and Functional Design

Deep knowledge and experience with HTML / JavaScript / Typescript CSS

Experience with at least one modern JS framework, preferably React

Built accessible and internationalized web applications before (Java, J2EE)

Experience working with Python

Built software for customers and employees

Staying up to date with industry best practices

Excellent communication skills, problem solving skills, and attention to details
