The Software Engineer role involves contributing to the planning and execution of software development for new features, including the design, deployment, and operation of cloud-based services.



You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotelyfrom anywhere within Canada (except for the Saskatchewan province) as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:



Contributes to the plans associated with the software development of features. Executes the design, development, deployment, and operation of cloud-based services. Contributes to prioritization of new features versus technical debt resolution Hold high standards in writing quality scalable and supportable code, complete with appropriate unit tests, automated testing, documentation, and operationalization aspects in a CI/CD environment Interface with user representatives or other engineering groups to define requirements and/or necessary modifications when require Proactively collaborates with other teams resolve roadblocks and ensure a smooth delivery Lead by example and use your technical expertise and perspective to drive innovation Continuously identify and highlight areas of improvement that will grow team to be more responsive and adaptable to change

Required Qualifications:



5+ years of professional software development experience in building complex, highly-scalable, performant, secure, reliable software systems in cloud-native environment and tools 3+ years of hand-on experiences and strong knowledge in .NET, React, Non-SQL such as Couchbase, GKE and NGINX, as well as microservices 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure 3+ years of experience with TDD and CI/CD processes

Preferred Qualifications:



Experience in healthcare industry working with DICOM, HL7, FHIR Experience designing, creating, and securing APIs; Web Services (REST/JSON), OAuth, JWT, WS-Security, SAML Experience designing, developing, documenting and testing leveraging AI tools such as GitHub Copilot Knowledge and experience working in Public Cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure) Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and asynchronous architectures Understanding of data modeling and database theory (ACID, CAP etc.) Proven sharp analytical abilities and proven design skills Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment Proven leadership abilities in an engineering environment in driving operational excellence and best practices

Canada Residents Only:

The salary/hourly range for Canada residents is $79,200 to $164,400 annually/per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
