We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help lead and expand our engineering team as we build and scale our healthcare SaaS platform. In this founder-level role, you'll take ownership of the entire engineering function, driving both strategy and execution while collaborating across the business to deliver impactful, high-quality products. You'll primarily work remotely, but occasional virtual or in-person meetings will be required. This opportunity is particularly well-suited for candidates with prior startup experience.
Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with Product, Operations, Marketing, and Sales teams to understand user workflows, identify pain points, and deliver impactful features.
Own and drive the entire engineering roadmap, from strategic planning and system architecture to hands-on coding.
Design, build, and maintain critical platform features, such as chat messaging, payment processing, and scheduling systems.
Strong full-stack technical background.
Lead technical decision-making processes and ensure the team adheres to high-quality engineering standards.
Requirements
5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
Strong full-stack expertise, with proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, React/Next.js, and PostgreSQL.
Experience working on complex products, including systems such as chat messaging, payment integration, and scheduling workflows.
Proven ability to design scalable architecture from the ground up.
Comfort with breaking down tasks and owning the project management process, with clear documentation and insights.
A product-first mindset, where user value and business outcomes are as important as technical execution.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead with clarity, empathy, and conviction.
Not Needed but Preferred:
Previous experience leading engineering at an early-stage startup or having founder-level experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00-$160,000.00 per year
