As one of the fastest-growing commercial open-source projects in history (github.com/HeyPuter/puter), Puter is building the personal cloud operating system.

We're a funded startup experiencing explosive growth, looking for a frontend engineer to help us with perfecting our desktop environment (puter.com) and developing our app ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain web applications using JavaScript and related technologies. Optimize frontend applications for maximum speed, scalability, and user experience. Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept to deployment. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a JavaScript developer, with a deep understanding of JavaScript fundamentals. Experience building complex applications using vanilla JavaScript and jQuery. Experience with WASM and related tooling and technologies. Attention to detail and a pixel-perfect design mindset.

Compensation:

$120,000 - $180,000 + equity + benefits Pay is influenced by various considerations and can fluctuate according to position-specific qualifications, competencies, and work history
