Senior Software Engineer - Duck Creek
Location: Toronto

The Senior Software Engineer, Duck Creek is responsible for developing, troubleshooting, and assisting users with complex insurance systems built on Duck Creek, and coordinating the activities of a project team in an assigned business area as required. Senior Software Engineer, Duck Creek is required to develop features and support the business with rollouts and support around Duck Creek out-of-the-box capabilities which have been leveraged.

Youre great at:

• Expansive experience in the following technologies: in Microsoft .NET, .NET Framework including ASP.NET, MVC, WCF, Windows Services, C#, XML, XSLT, ASP.Net, MS SQL server-side and client-side script for browsers.
• Exceptional knowledge of the Duck Creek Policy System Architecture and all Duck Creek Policy design and implementation features.
• Exceptional understanding of reuse and portability in terms of enterprise solutions seeking to determine and develop repeatable, efficient, and optimal ways of implementing Duck Creek, version 7.0, and other higher versions.
• Expansive experience with Duck Creek Policy, Rating.
• Expansive experience with Duck Creek Author tool.
• Expansive experience with Duck Creek debugging tools: TSV, trace monitor.
• Expansive experience with Internet Information Server (IIS).
• Expansive experience with Duck Creek Product Studio.
• Expansive experience with DBs - MS SQL Server.
• Exceptional knowledge of CI/CD - Azure DevOps.
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to work as a team member.
• Exceptional ability to resolve day-to-day problems/issues.
• Exceptional ability to proactively update internal and external documentation on operation processes.

You have:

• Bachelors degree (Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree is preferred) and/or equivalent on the job experience.
• 8-10 years experience with Duck Creek product lines.
• 8-10 years experience in software engineering or related field.
• Hands-on familiarity with the Duck Creek Policy System Architecture and most Duck Creek Policy design and implementation features.
• Excellent knowledge of Duck Creek policies, latest features, and versions.
