As a Senior Software Engineer, you will use your expertise to develop and implement innovative software solutions for a new clinical instrument being launched at STEMCELL. You will work alongside engineers and scientists from a variety of backgrounds to ensure all product milestones are achieved and all regulatory requirements are met. Duties and Responsibilities

Lead software requirements drafting and review with in-house cross functional teams and external suppliers with a focus on the full software lifecycle implementation from user requirements to test report generation

Research and identify potential new directions for software and instrument development at STEMCELL Technologies, build prototypes, and collaborate with senior management in shaping the next generation of software and instruments

Lead testing activities, risk management, cybersecurity assessments and technical documentation according to company quality standards and IEC 62304 (software lifecycle for medical devices) for a new, cutting edge clinical instrument

Support continuous improvement through reviews of product architecture, design and technology, implementation, and lifecycle management factors

Knowledge and Qualifications

Bachelor\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience or graduate degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience

Experience going through the full software lifecycle of a medical device

Experience with embedded system interfacing between MCU\'s and sensors/IO, implementing communication protocols e.g. CAN / I2C /SPI.

Experience with developing BSP for custom hardware, including development of custom bootloaders and knowledge of RTOS/concurrency/ task scheduler

Experience with software architecture and adding additional functions, such as network connectivity

Advanced coding experience (C, C++)
