Job Requisition ID #24WD79066Position OverviewAutodesk AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our development team and develop products for its world-wide customers. As a member of the Power Processing team, you\'ll improve productivity and outcomes across the construction lifecycle. Our customers are building some of the most challenging construction projects in the world. They need our help to get more done, in less time, with less risk.If you are a software developer who is proficient in web-based technologies, have design and coding skills, passionate about problem solving, with experience building and operating SaaS system with large user base, we would love to hear from you! You will report into the Manager of Software Engineering. This position is remote in Canada (British Columbia).ResponsibilitiesYou will contribute to software design and architecture by using cloud design patterns and injecting your cloud expertise into the entire development lifecycleYou will be involved with all aspects of software development, working to create the most reliable, secure, performant, and high throughput services for our customers by leveraging cloud technologiesYou will collaborate with software architects, UX designers, product managers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to iteratively transform high-level requirements into product enhancementsProvide technical guidance to both your team members and your project peersYou will promote a culture of metrics-based analysis and decisions.You will participate in an on-call rotation to support production servicesYou will ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of our applications by identifying bottlenecks and bugs and devising solutions to these problemsYou will write and maintain code with a high attention to detail, perform peer code reviews, and drive technical design discussionsMinimum Qualifications5+ years of software development experience with front-end development languages such as TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSSMaster\xe2\x80\x99s/Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or equivalentYou will build web applications using modern JavaScript libraries such as ReactJS, including end-to-end testingYou have experience developing product an user interface design and collaborating with designersYou have demonstrated knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programmingYou understand how to build reusable, composable, and extensible softwareExperience with cloud service providers and features they offer (we use AWS)Preferred QualificationsExperience developing large-scale softwareExperience in distributed cloud and high concurrency designExperience working with linting and formatting tools, such as TypeScript, ESlint, and prettierHave domain knowledge of the construction industry (or other areas of AEC) and a strong user-centered approach to one\'s workLearn MoreAbout Autodesk

For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $98,600 and $144,650. Offers are based on the candidate\xe2\x80\x99s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
