As a software development engineer in the auction engineering team, you will help to create auction matching strategy. Key job responsibilities
Software engineers in this role are responsible for managing the real-time advertising auction strategy for the Amazon site globally. You will collaborate closely with the scientist team to create and enhance various online auction strategies. Your responsibilities include developing, designing, and maintaining these services, as well as innovating on new features and improvements to enhance customer satisfaction. Additionally, as a senior engineer, you will mentor and coach your team members, and assist in shaping the overall technical direction.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or equivalent
