Senior Software Developer Locations : Canada \xe2\x80\x93 Vancouver (Remote) Ulta Skill set: Java AWS Cloud - Microservices Kubernetes Knowledge of Flow protocols like NetFlow, IPFIX, SFlow, Vflow Real Time Processing systems like Apache storm, Spark Zookeeper Databases like Postgres, Greenplum Apache Kafka Networking experience CI/CD tools like Bamboo, Argo CD Cloud monitoring tools like Zabbix, Grafana, Kibana JD: \xc2\xb7 Design, develop and maintain key frameworks, services and applications for network traffic data collection, processing, analysis, correlation, and monitoring in Calix Cloud. \xc2\xb7 Work closely with Cloud product owners to understand, analyze product requirements, provide feedback, and deliver a complete solution. \xc2\xb7 Technical leadership of software design in meeting requirements of service stability, reliability, scalability, and security \xc2\xb7 Participate and drive technical discussions within engineering group in all phases of the SDLC: review requirements, produce design documents, participate in Peer reviews, produce test plans, support QA team, provide internal training and support TAC team. \xc2\xb7 Guiding test strategy and test automation implementation in network traffic data services domain. \xc2\xb7 Guiding Cloud DevOps work in network traffic data services domain \xc2\xb7 Customer facing engineering role in debugging and resolving field issues. Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 10+ years of highly technical, hands-on software engineering experience \xc2\xb7 Independent and Self driven and works in a Team. \xc2\xb7 Organized and goal-focused, ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment. \xc2\xb7 Strong, creative problem-solving skills and ability to abstract and share details to create meaningful articulation. \xc2\xb7 Implementation background in various data processing, consumption patterns, and pipelines \xc2\xb7 Hands on experience in designing low latency, real-time streaming and event-based data solutions (Kafka, Spark/Storm/Flink like expertise) for very large scale rate of ingestions. \xc2\xb7 Experience with applying statistical distribution/sampling analysis to data. \xc2\xb7 Experience in building and productizing cloud-based/scale data ingestion (preferably in AWS) involving load balancers and autoscaling based on customized parameters. \xc2\xb7 Experience with performance tuning and cost optimizing the productized solution. \xc2\xb7 Experience in network traffic data collection, processing, analysis, and monitoring, and solid understanding of protocols TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, NetFlow, sFlow, IPFIX and definite plus \xc2\xb7 Understanding of concepts of Radius, PPPoE IP, DHCP IP. \xc2\xb7 High proficiency in Go/Java \xc2\xb7 Proficient with microservices-based, API/Endpoint architectures \xc2\xb7 Experience in cloud data solutions including efficient caching and lookup \xc2\xb7 BS degree in Computer Science, engineering, or mathematics or equivalent experience Job Type: Full-time Salary: $60.00-$65.00 per hour Benefits:
