Our client is seeking a Senior Software Developer
Key Deliverables for Senior Software Developer:
Product Requirements: Collaborate with Business Analysts, UX/UI Designers, and Architects to interpret user stories, solution architecture, and security requirements. Prepare technical specifications and design artifacts using UML and tools like Power Designer.
Product Delivery: Develop and enhance web applications using Java EE, microservices, and cloud-native frameworks (Angular, React, Spring Boot). Implement Oracle E-Business customizations and conversions for modules such as GL, AR, AP, and Collections. Write and optimize PL/SQL, XML, and Unix scripts, and support ETL processes and OBIEE reporting. Conduct unit testing, automation, and compliance testing (AODA, security, performance).
Prioritization: Manage multiple development tasks, troubleshoot production issues, and deliver incremental improvements while meeting deadlines. Ensure scalability, security, and adherence to OPS standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC. Provide technical guidance, coordinate development activities, and deliver knowledge transfer sessions. Prepare implementation packages and operational documentation for production releases.
Must have
Strong (and recent) technical design, build / development, and quality assurance expertise in Java EE and Cloud-Native frameworks, standards, technologies and tools
Working experience of developing Web-based Java EE and Cloud-Native applications using Java 1.8+, JDK 11+, EJB, JPA, JSP, Servlets, JDBS, JNDI, XML, DOM, SAX, and XSLT, DHTML/HTML, Struts, Node.js, JSON, Spring Framework / Spring Boot / Spring MVC, JavaScript, Web Services, JUnit, Log4J, iTEXT, Jasper Reports, Jakarta Commons Beans Utilities / Collections framework, Apache Commons Logging, etc
Database: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2, IMS, etc, and SQL programming
Web / Application Servers: WebLogic (14+), WebSphere, JBoss, TomCat
