As a Software Architect for cloud solutions, you will be a part of the team leading the company\xe2\x80\x99s cloud/SaaS technology development and contributing to the development of future offerings. You will have the opportunity to participate in shaping the company\xe2\x80\x99s future through collaboration with highly skilled domain experts and developers alongside with dedicated leaders.

What You Will Do

• Lead the work on selecting the technologies and patterns needed for supporting the future business needs.
• Help shape the software platform serve cloud-based customer needs.
• Advise the business units in the company on strategic paths involving technology choices and how to balance the combination of business and technology.
• Be a software architect mentor to the rest of the engineering team.
• Work in cross-functional agile teams to produce and release new applications, features, and enhancements to improve the user experience, applying the full understanding of software engineering discipline and industry best practices.
• Design and rapidly prototype proposed solutions in different Tech Stacks
• Work closely with other Architects and the development team members in major architecture projects, design and implementation, review of functional and technical requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Proven track record of transforming complex business needs into straightforward, effective software architecture and solutions, particularly for SaaS offerings.
• Solid understanding of Inter-process Communication, Microservices, and distributed infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency in database management and optimization skills, particularly in the context of transitioning from legacy systems to modern, cloud-based databases.
• Hands-on experience with dotnet and other backend technologies and an eagerness to learn new technologies as required.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct technical interviews, assess candidate skills effectively, and provide valuable insight for senior developer hires.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
• Proven dedication to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies. Able to drive the integration of new skills or technologies into the company, promoting knowledge sharing across teams.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices (and tools, such as Terraform) to automate the setup and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalable, reliable, and secure data storage solutions.
• Comfortable translating design ideas into easy-to-understand documentation.
• Must be legally entitled to work in the country where the role is located. Must be able to travel to the United States, Canada and/or internationally, and have a valid passport.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to manage a team and conduct code reviews.
• Proven ability to mentor junior/intermediate developers, leading by example and promoting a culture of excellence in all aspects of software development.
• Extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying secure Cloud Native Software.
• Prior corporate finance experience, preferably with experience in ERP systems (excluding banking), which will be beneficial in understanding the financial aspects of software solutions and contributing to the design of systems that meet complex business needs.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a diverse range of developers, regardless of experience level.
