Job Description

Our utilities client is looking for a Senior SAP Solution Architect to implement and support an S/4 HANA and Customer Information Systems (CIS) replacement projects\xef\xbb\xbfInitially a 12 month contract with a possibility of extension. Remote with occasional travel to Vancouver for workshops and in person meetings. Open to Candidates across BC & ABMust Haves:

• 8+ years of Solutions Architecture experience with 5+ SAP ECC end to end project implementations.
• S/4 HANA implementation experience
• Strong documentation and presentation skills to key stakeholders

• Leverage extensive knowledge of industry and solution best practices and methodologies to make functional solution recommendations on complex SAP environments.
• Facilitate collaborative discussions and workshops to ensure alignment and desired business outcomes are achieved.
• Investigate and evaluate SAP solution landscape, organize, and assess necessary task required to successfully address solution gaps and resolve pain-points.
• Analyze and map FortisBC business requirements, processes, and objectives; formulate functional modifications, upgrade, or migration recommendations to satisfy clients\' needs.
• Lead end-to-end solution blueprint discussions accounting for integration points between the SAP modules as well as non-SAP legacy applications.
• Leverage, improve and challenge SAP solution proposals to make it follow the industry best practice and ensure it meets client\'s functional requirements.
• Assist the delivery team in project definition and planning for solution implementation, upgrade, extension, or migration type of projects in traditional or agile environments.
• Take ownership (evaluate impact, design, validate and plan) for any proposed changes to approved solution architecture and deployment strategy. Align it to maximize the business value of the solution.
