Job Description

This individual should possess robust development, communication, and planning skills, coupled with an in-depth understanding of quality assurance techniques, testing concepts, methodologies, and tools.

Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Strategy:

• Design and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce customizations.
• Develop a thorough test strategy roadmap.

Automation:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to streamline and reduce manual testing efforts.

Testing Execution:

• Conduct both manual and automated testing of Salesforce features, ensuring adherence to specified requirements and identifying and documenting any software defects.
• Validate data integrity and accuracy within Salesforce and its integrations with other systems.

Process Improvement:

• Assist in enhancing the QA process by suggesting best practices and implementing efficiency improvements.

Automation Baseline:

• Continuously maintain and improve the automation baseline and existing test cases to enhance coverage and quality.

Defect Management:

• Manage defect tracking, proactively identify risks to management, and monitor and report results.
• Perform root cause analysis of defects, conduct lessons learned meetings, and propose process and methodology improvements.

Reporting and Communication:

• Report QA status to project stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication on deliverables and timelines.

Code Reviews and Best Practices:

• Perform automation scripting code reviews and promote best practices among QA engineers.

Continuous Improvement:

• Foster a continuous improvement approach to QA activities, consistently seeking ways to enhance processes and methodologies.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Expertise in Automation tools such as Selenium, Provar, Postman, and others.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Salesforce platform.
• Proficiency in Back-End testing, including APIs and SQL/SOQL.
• Ability to create Automation Tools from scratch.
• Application of testing concepts (unit, system, regression, product, integration, and acceptance testing) to web application features.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
