We are looking for a
Senior Sales Engineer
to join our growing Sales Team. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who enjoys prospecting, building relationships, and collaborating with technical experts to deliver real solutions to customers.
This position can be based in
Vernon
or
Vancouver, BC.

What You'll Do
As a key member of our Sales Team, you'll work closely with Process Engineers, Proposal Engineers, and the Sales Manager to identify opportunities and convert leads into long-term customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
Drive sales growth by meeting and exceeding assigned sales targets
Develop new business opportunities across the
mining, aggregates, and wastewater
industries
Build and maintain strong relationships with engineering firms, EPCs, and end users
Collaborate with Proposal Engineers and the Engineering & Design Team to develop accurate, competitive, and timely quotations
Analyze customer requirements and recommend optimal process and equipment solutions
Support customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and long-term relationships
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and opportunity records in
Salesforce
Represent Westpro at industry conferences, tradeshows, and marketing events
Travel as required to support customer engagements and business development activities
Occasional travel as required
What You Bring
We're looking for someone who is driven, organized, and confident in communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 5 years of sales experience with capital equipment in mining or related industries
Engineering degree required (Mining/Mineral Processing, Chemical, or Mechanical preferred)
Strong understanding of mineral processing equipment and system applications
Proven ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to manage priorities independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM
Nice to Have:
P.Eng designation considered an asset
Familiarity with mineral processing equipment, mining, aggregates, or wastewater industries
