Opportunit\xc3\xa9 :

Reporting to the Vice-President of Sales for North America, the Senior Sales Director (CA) is responsible for planning, leading, and growing our client\'s sales throughout Canada. The primary responsibility of this position is to maximize sales expansion and supervise the field sales staff to pursue profitable growth.

Responsabilit\xc3\xa9s principales :
  • Develop goals and strategies for the Canadian field sales team in accordance with the overall objectives of the company;
  • Exceed annual budgeted sales volume and revenue targets;
  • Establish or maintain relationships with current and potential customers;
  • Lead, coach and mentor the Canadian field sales team;
  • Periodically review the effectiveness of the sales teams and adjust as necessary;
  • Develop information and control systems to measure performance;
  • Establish communication to provide appropriate information to his or her service;
  • Provide market research that provides data on industry, consumer behavior, new products, and competitive intel to be able to advise appropriately as well as lead the sales team as new trends emerge;
  • Work with other departments to determine if new products or refinements are needed as well as to balance inventory needs to properly support customers;
  • Review and approve expenses and other fixed costs;
  • Work jointly with marketing on advertising and promotional programs;
  • Perform any other duties considered relevant to his or her function.
Formation, exp\xc3\xa9rience, connaissances, aptitudes :
  • A minimum of 10 years of solid sales experience combined to 5 years of experience as a manager;
  • Bachelor\'s degree in marketing, Business or a related field;
  • Proven ability with problem-solving skills, critical thinking and working cross-departmentally;
  • Strong organizational and communication skills;
  • Demonstrated expertise with measurement, benchmarking, and ROI analysis
  • Proven track record of achievement \xe2\x80\x93 delivering results and achieving on-time and on-budget delivery;
  • Experience in building materials or spray foam industry a plus;
  • Bilingual (English and French);
  • Travel across the country.
