The Opportunity

We're looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails developer to join our global team in the property management industry.

Today, Rankbreeze helps it's users manage over 16,000 properties around the world with our e-commerce optimization platform for short term rental managers.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of new features within our Ruby on Rails application. Maintain & improve our Chrome extension built with React. Conduct code reviews to ensure the quality and scalability of our codebase. Work closely with other developers to deliver high-impact updates and improvements. Build and maintain integrations with other software systems in our industry. Collaborate with product, support, marketing & customers.

Your Experience

4+ years of experience developing web applications. Strong experience with Ruby, Rails, and RSpec. Familiarity with MVC patterns and scaling high-load applications. Experience with SQL schema design and query optimization (we use Postgres). Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure). Strong English proficiency with excellent remote communication skills. A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Bonus Points

Familiarity with StimulusJS and Kubernetes. Experience with data pipelines and OLAP databases. Experience developing Chrome Extensions.

This role is a full-time

contractor

position with all of the following benefits. If you're in Canada, T4 Employment is available after a year of continuous service & we may be able to accommodate other residents in the future.
