Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced

Retention Marketing Strategist

who will oversee the performance of our Klaviyo accounts, guide our account managers to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, and assist with technical aspects of email and SMS marketing. You will be the go-to expert for all things related to retention marketing, including email, SMS, direct mail, loyalty programs, and referral programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Oversight & Strategy:

Oversee and direct strategy across client accounts to maximize performance. Work closely with clients and account managers to plan and execute tailored retention strategies. Audit new client accounts to identify growth opportunities and build actionable plans for improvement.

Performance Review & Optimization:

Regularly review client performance, audit struggling accounts, and build strategic roadmaps for success. Identify client-specific strategies to enhance retention and increase ROI. Proactively seek ways to improve overall performance across all client accounts.

Team Support & Leadership:

Support account managers with Klaviyo-related questions and challenges. Serve as the internal expert for email marketing and retention strategies, guiding the team with best practices and innovative approaches. Occasionally join client calls to provide strategic insights and support account managers.

Innovation & Growth:

Stay on the cutting edge of retention marketing trends, tools, and strategies. Identify and recommend new software or services that can enhance client results. Continuously learn and experiment with new ideas to keep our clients ahead of the curve.

You are driven by KPIs and results, constantly aiming to exceed client goals. You can create clear, actionable plans and guide teams to execute them effectively.

Expert Communicator:

You excel in communication, both internally and externally, and can clearly articulate complex strategies. You can build strong relationships with clients and collaborate seamlessly with account managers.

Multi-Tasker & Problem Solver:

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple priorities without losing focus. You're resourceful, quick on your feet, and ready to wear multiple hats in a dynamic team setting.

No BS Expert:

You have a rock-solid understanding of marketing fundamentals and can back up your ideas with experience and data. You are authentic, transparent, and genuinely knowledgeable about what you do.

Qualifications:

Proven experience with

Klaviyo

and email marketing for DTC brands. Strong understanding of

retention marketing

concepts, including SMS, direct mail, loyalty programs, and referral programs. Deep knowledge of

DTC marketing strategies

and the latest industry trends. Experience leading strategy and execution across multiple client accounts. Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
