Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Conduct internal audits and coordinate with external auditors.

Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

Implement and maintain internal financial controls.

Liaise with other departments to ensure accuracy of financial data.

Provide insights and recommendations for financial improvements.

Stay updated with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.

Requirements:

Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designation or equivalent.

Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in the oil and gas industry.

Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).

Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities

Legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
